Cupcakes WITH dinner, not after?! Yep!

When my youngsters have been youthful, I went to a potluck dinner with different neighborhood households.

Somebody had introduced mini cupcakes and put them on the desk together with the remainder of the meals. So when the youngsters went down the road with their paper plates, guess what they wished?

Mini cupcakes, in fact!

Dad and mom mentioned “not proper now” and “after you end your hen”.

Besides me.

Sure, the lone dietitian within the group let her youngsters put a mini cupcake on their plates, together with hen and fruit and carrots. My youngsters ate their cupcakes first then ate their different meals and went off to play.

The opposite youngsters continued to pester their dad and mom concerning the cupcakes. They wished to know: “When can I’ve one?” and “I took three bites of hen. Can I’ve one now?” and “How about NOW?” 

The dad and mom have been, understandably, aggravated–at their youngsters for certain, and possibly at me for being the mother who let her youngsters eat cupcakes with dinner.
