The Glenlivet launches The Glenlivet Distillery Reserve Assortment: 9-12 months-Outdated Beer Cask End Version forward of Worldwide Beer Day on 4th August 

Speyside Single Malt, The Glenlivet, has unveiled a brand new limited-edition whisky – The Glenlivet Distillery Reserve Assortment: 9-12 months-Outdated Beer Cask End Version – in partnership with Scottish brewer, Innis & Gunn. Within the spirit of innovation to enter totally different territories of flavour, this new whisky has been completed in an Innis & Gunn beer cask. The Glenlivet Distillery Reserve Assortment: 9-12 months-Outdated Beer Cask End Version was completed in a cask beforehand used to mature Innis & Gunn’s restricted version ‘Vanishing Level Imperial Stout’, an 11% abv silky darkish brew. The brand new beer cask end version has fragrant notes of golden syrup biscuits, darkish cherry tart and hints of refined treacle that give method to honeycomb, nougat and tropical fruits. On the palate, spicy ginger and freshly floor nutmeg come by means of, adopted by refined fruity flavour notes from hops, leaving a long-lasting creamy and candy malty end.
